Program Overview

Webinar Overview
One of the harbingers that came out of the 2020 World Economic Forum was the reality that although many of us think we are in tune with our emotional intelligence, in fact, we can all use a tune-up.  In this hour-long engaging intro to Emotional Intelligence (EQ), you will learn more about one of the five pillars of emotional intelligence, self-awareness.

Join us to walk away with actionable tips so that you can realize your own emotions and leverage them toward your goals without feeling angry, frustrated or out of control when dealing with colleagues. Companies seek candidates that are competent and emotionally intelligent.  Raise your own stakes to get in the zone and stay there.

Takeaways:

•    Recognize when you feel emotional at work so that you can manage your own reaction
•    Learn to strategize your encounters instead of reacting without a plan
•    Learn to lead using these strategies so that others learn from and with you

This webinar will prepare attendees to participate in the longer EQ workshop launching this summer, part of UML’s Professional Certificate in Managerial Leadership.
