About the Facilitator
Kim Burns is a trusted leader, facilitator, and coach. For twenty-five years, Dr. Burns served in administrative positions at Northern Essex and Middlesex Community Colleges. During her career in higher education, she facilitated numerous strategic planning processes, professional development workshops and leadership development programs. Dr. Burns is a proud product of the Lowell Public Schools and the Massachusetts public higher education system. She earned a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Massachusetts Boston, a Master of Arts in Community/Social Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
